As an essential infrastructure service provider, MVSD continues to meet its primary mission of protecting public health and the environment. We are following the current guidance and recommendations made by the state of California, Contra Costa County and Cal/OSHA. Due to the increase in Delta variant COVID-19 cases, visitors are required to wear face coverings inside our facilities, per Contra Costa Department of Health Services on August 3, 2021.
Tentatively starting September 1, our offices will re-open for regular business hours, Mondays-Thursdays, 7:00 am – 4:30 pm and Fridays, 7:00 am-3:30 pm, except holidays.
Also, starting September 1, tentatively, all meetings and gatherings, including Board Meetings, will resume in person sessions.
Notice of Board Meetings will be communicated to the public by timely posting on the District website, www.mvsd.org.
Mt. View Sanitary District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Mt. View Sanitary District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
feedback and can often resolve issues in a timely manner if they arise.
