Recent work performed:

• Completed levee reconstruction with geogrid in pond A-2 and A-1.
• Constructed 3 islands in pond A-2 and began island construction in pond A-1
• Formed and poured concrete for the boardwalk and viewing platform abutments in pond A-2.
• Installed timber piles for the boardwalk and viewing platform abutments in pond A-2.
• Installed 2 water control structures.
• Began dredging in Peyton Slough.
• Excavated and installed levee keyways in Fat Slough and began levee reconstruction with geogrid.
• Began excavating and installing levee keyways in pond B and began levee reconstruction with geogrid on the west side along Peyton Slough.
• Continued drying and moisture conditioning pond B soils.

Upcoming work:

• Complete levee reconstruction and island construction in pond A-1.
• Complete levee reconstruction in Fat Slough.
• Continue keyway installation and levee reconstruction in pond B.
• Complete dredging in Peyton Slough.
• Install the 3 remaining water control structures.
• Begin installation of the outlet structures to Peyton Slough.
• Begin installation of rip rap in ponds A-2 and A-1.
• CCC scheduled for mid September to start constructing the boardwalk and viewing platform.
