With the holidays approaching, you can almost smell the delicious food that comes with it. The last thing you want to smell is a sewer blockage caused by fats, oils and grease.

Internal audits of the District’s Sewer System Management Plan are performed every two years from the last update and re-certification, which was in 2019.

The Sewer Service Charge Rebate Assistance program offers a 20% discount in the form of a rebate check after all property taxes for the subject parcel have been paid.

We are seeking applications from MVSD customers and residents to participate in a Community Advisory Committee, which will provide input into the District’s long-term plans to continue providing sewer collection and wastewater treatment services to its public.

We’re excited to re-open Moorhen Marsh to the public. Visiting hours are Mondays through Thursdays, 7 am to 4:30 pm, and Fridays, 7 am to 3:30 pm.

The International Bird Rescue released two Great Egrets into McNabney Marsh in September. After rehabbing with the Rescue, these birds will now play a part in the Audubon Canyon Ranch Heron and Egret Telemetry Project.
