Fall is Here!

May contain: rake, leaf, and plant

You know fall is here when the air starts to cool, and the leaves change colors and fall to the ground. Leaves in streets and gutters add higher than normal nutrients and lower than normal oxygen to local water bodies which can negatively affect the ecosystem. They are also the leading cause of localized flooding during rain events due to their blocking of the storm drains. Always rake leaves and place them in yard waste containers or use them for mulch or compost.
