MVSD is honored to receive the California Sanitation Risk Management Authority (CSRMA) 2024-2025 Workers’ Compensation Excellence Award. This award recognizes MVSD’s safety procedures designed to reduce workplace hazards.  As part of their efforts to help members prevent employee injuries and control the costs of workers’ compensation claims, CSRMA sponsors the annual Workers’ Compensation Excellence Award program.

The award application process is highly demanding, requiring members to implement multiple safety measures that exceed the standards set by the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health. These enhanced efforts are designed to prioritize injury prevention and reflect advanced practices typically seen in high-risk sectors like the wastewater industry.
